nationally recognised on-site safety training
Gas test training, on-site Adelaide, Gawler, Barossa, Riverland, Murray Bridge, Adelaide Hills, Mildura and regional SA, NSW & VIC. So as to control the atmospheric hazards associated with work in confined spaces, it is necessary to test for, level of oxygen, atmospheric contaminants and any flammable gas or vapour present in the space.
Testing the atmosphere in a confined space for gases is a routine part of the risk management process. Testing needs to be carried out by a competent person using a suitable, correctly calibrated detector.
This training delivers the skills and knowledge required to test the working atmosphere, using electronic test apparatus, to find out if it is safe for the proposed work. Workplace atmospheres may include visible and invisible hazards and hazardous surfaces. It applies to situations where an individual may be required to carry out gas testing of an atmosphere prior to entering a specific area or workspace. The competency requires the person to interpret readings and take actions based on the interpretation
